Aperture approached us with the task to create an all in one platform to be able to sell your property quickly, buy a home and get a mortgage as easily as possible. Behind the scenes, the Aperture team needed an enterprise-level management system to underwrite loans and take a property through sourcing, purchasing, fix-and-flip and dispositions.

Solution

The goal was to develop a cutting edge technology platform that gives users decision-making tools, transparency and the power to change the way real estate is transacted.

Aperture leverages big data to source, model and offer attractive incentives for people to sell their homes.

Our Design Approach

Our first focus was transparency and security, to help guide the user to making the best decision for their home. We created seamless flows that would link straight with Aperture’s back office, to provide quick offers for sellers.

The designs had to be clean and perfectly laid out, so all users can maximize their workflows, analyze deals and feel positive while using the platform.

Marketing website - The marketing website had primary function to inform and advertise to potential customers about Dot Fund’s services as well as applying for loans, registering interest and accessing portals. We’ve designed a clear, simple and light website with a great focus on wording and strong images. Keeping the breathfullnes, white spaces and line icons with a small touch of yellow allowed us to create a high end looking web.



Our Tech Approach

Our challenge for the Aperture MVP was to be able to develop efficiently in order to reach the tight deadlines while making sure the system was robust to handle a large amount of data, users and security required when dealing with loans and purchasing of real estate.

Results

In September 2017, we delivered a data analytics platform capable of scanning and pulling in thousands of data sets on homes, a  loan underwriting portal, house purchasing, refitting and selling portals as well as a marketing website, on time ready for Aperture to launch their business. We conducted thorough testing and remained on hand to quickly modify and update the system with any client requests. The Aperture team became close friends of ours, who we continue to work with today.
