The Role
As Head of Marketing at OAK’S LAB, you will be responsible for enhancing and executing our B2B marketing strategy to promote our brand and services. You will be leading your own department and work closely with our CEO, sales, and recruitment departments to increase the startup lead pipeline, drive revenue growth, and attract potential new hires.
The success of your work will be defined by inbound startup leads, achieving revenue targets, and inbound job applications. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a proven track record in building a successful brand for a startup accelerator, incubator, venture capital firm, or digital agency.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be to lead, manage, and mentor a lean internal marketing team to execute the marketing strategy, which includes:
- Enhancing our current marketing strategy to promote our brand and services with the goal to increase the startup lead pipeline, drive revenue growth, and attract potential new hires
- Creating and distributing unique and compelling content to establish OAK'S LAB as a thought leader in the industry
- Optimizing our web experience to increase conversions and transfer brand value
- Managing and optimizing our social media presence to generate inbound startup leads and attract potential new hires
- Leading the development and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels
- Overseeing event execution and manage event materials and deliverables
- Managing PR and brand communications through key partnerships
- Owning and managing the marketing budget and commensurate KPIs and revenue impact
- Creating routine reports to evaluate and optimize the performance of the marketing department
Skills & Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of building a successful brand for a startup accelerator, incubator, venture capital firm, or digital agency
- Extensive experience working with Google Analytics, Social Media, and Hubspot (or another CRM tool)
- Knowledge of software product development is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools providing accountability for generating pipeline leads to achieve revenue targets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about helping startups succeed
- Success-driven self-starter with a go-getter attitude willing to work hands-on within a team environment
- Out-of-the-box thinker coming up with creative solutions to achieve the goals set in the marketing strategy
