Our Design team is fundamental in creating new products alongside the Engineering and Product teams at OAK'S LAB. As a Design Manager, you will play a key role facilitating design work on multiple projects as well as managing team members in our emerging Design team.
We are looking for a seasoned Design Manager who has knowledge in several areas of expertise with a focus on digital product design, specifically in the startup environment. You will be working across the multiple products that OAK’S LAB builds, and your main responsibilities will be to oversee our Design team, ensure that we are moving in the right direction, influence all projects with other designers, and actively collaborate with the CDO on company-wide initiatives.
While you will be expected to occasionally dive in and work hands-on, you will manage your own chapter of Designers and act as a chapter head within the Design team. You will mentor and lead other Designers through 1:1s and design syncs, continuously evolve our product development process (our way of working), lead the efforts to collaborate with your fellow Designers to ensure that we are constantly improving as individuals and as a team, and ensure that our projects are of the highest standard of quality.
