An interactive online-course platform for universities, founded by Dr. David Lefevre, Professor of Practice at Imperial College Business School and founder of its EdTech Lab.
Many MBA programs lack the internal resources to deliver essential but often-overlooked subjects, statistics, plagiarism awareness, generative AI, and they’re usually taught through dated slides and PDFs that fail to engage. Curriculum Advances had a strong concept and drafted courses but no product, and to succeed it had to integrate seamlessly with university systems, feel genuinely interactive, and let non-technical staff build courses.

Curriculum Advances was founded by David Lefevre, a Professor of Practice in Digital Innovation at Imperial College Business School who founded its award-winning EdTech Lab and launched 220+ online modules, with a PhD in education and multiple successful EdTech exits behind him.
He self-funded Curriculum Advances to close the curriculum gaps in MBA programs, delivering foundational and topical subjects in a modern, engaging way. He came to OAK’S LAB with a strong concept and drafted courses, but no product, and needed a team to bring the vision to life.
The mandate was a scalable, interactive platform that universities could adopt easily, one that integrated with major LMS platforms, delivered a dynamic student experience, and let non-technical creators build and manage courses.
And it had to be ready for a hard deadline: a production MVP in time to debut at the Association of MBAs (AMBA) global conference.

150+ institutions ready to onboard. Demo environments and LMS integration let Curriculum Advances begin onboarding 150+ interested institutions, including London Business School, Oxford, Cambridge, and New York University.
First courses live. Four fully interactive courses were completed and deployed at launch, with more in development on the same tagging-and-parsing framework.
Built to scale. A modular course engine supports rapid catalog expansion, additional LMS integrations, and high performance as usage grows across institutions.
