The Role

As Head of Talent Acquisition at OAK’S LAB, you will be responsible for enhancing and executing our talent acquisition strategy. You will be leading your own team and working closely with other department heads and hiring managers to hire the best talent for OAK’S LAB. The success of your work will be defined by achieving our hiring targets and by the quality of the hires we make. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong vision of how talent acquisition should be done and a proven track record of hiring in the tech industry.


Lead your team

  • Lead 1:1s and syncs with the recruiters in your team
  • Be a great mentor to your team members
  • Set targets for your team and help them succeed in their roles
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within your team
  • Manage your departmental budget

Enhance and execute our hiring strategy

  • Contribute to setting our annual hiring targets
  • Ensure we are using effective job portals and are measuring their success
  • Own our website careers page and ensure we have a high conversion rate
  • Build and nurture a community of shortlisted candidates
  • Implement an effective sourcing and outreach strategy
  • Own our candidate referral program
  • Track important recruitment metrics, create routine reports, and continuously optimize our processes based on collected data
  • Own our interview processes, continuously evaluate the processes, and drive changes if necessary
  • Be an active interviewer for selected roles, evaluate if candidates possess the skills and traits required for each role, and make “hire/no-hire” decisions together with hiring managers
  • Lead company-wide initiatives and workshops to improve how we interview and evaluate candidates
  • Own the recruitment process for selected startups within our ecosystem (hiring for startups that are clients of our OAK’S BOOST division) and oversee a team of recruiters on these recruitment projects

Contribute to growing our employer brand

  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to grow our employer brand
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to run and measure successful recruitment-related campaigns and PR activities
  • Contribute to the implementation of a strategy of hosting events with the goal of attracting top-level talent

Skills & Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience recruiting non-technical and technical roles
  • 2+ years of experience in either a Team Lead or management position
  • Strong recruitment skills with a proven track record of building large teams
  • Experience setting up and optimizing applicant tracking systems
  • Experience in evaluating candidates and owning the “hire/no-hire” decision-making process
  • Experience implementing processes to track and evaluate recruitment data
  • Experience implementing automation into the recruitment process
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coach and lead other recruiters through inspiration and expertise
  • Out-of-the-box thinker coming up with creative solutions to achieve our goals
  • Upbeat energy and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Results and outcomes-oriented
